Terms of Service
In short: you must be 14 or older. Play fair, keep usernames friendly, and don’t cheat. In-game items like Buttons and skins have no cash value. You can delete your account any time.
These terms are the agreement between you and Four Corners Games (“we”, “us”) for the YarnToss game. By using the game or creating an account, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the game. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information.
1. Who can play
You must be at least 14 years old.
2. Your account
You can play without an account or create one with an email address. Keep your password private; you are responsible for what happens under your account. You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Account.
3. Usernames and behaviour
Usernames appear on public leaderboards. Do not choose a name that is offensive, hateful, sexual, misleading, or that impersonates someone else, and do not use the game to harass anyone. We may change, remove or block a username, and we may suspend an account, if it breaks these rules. You can change your username from Settings → Account, with a wait of 7 days between changes after the first.
4. Fair play
Do not cheat, tamper with the game or its data, or use exploits or automated tools to gain leaderboard scores or rewards. We may remove scores or hide accounts from the leaderboard, reset progress obtained unfairly, or suspend accounts for cheating.
5. In-game currency and items
“Buttons”, skins and other in-game items are part of the game and have no cash value. They cannot be transferred or exchanged for money. If we later offer purchases with real money, the price and what you get will be shown before you pay, and purchases are processed by the app store (such as Google Play). Refunds are handled under the store’s policies and your rights under consumer protection law. Deleting your account removes your items and currency without compensation.
6. Ownership
The game, its art, music, code and name belong to us or our licensors. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to play it. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer or redistribute it, except as the law allows.
7. Changes to the game
YarnToss is under active development. We may update, change or remove features, and we may occasionally interrupt or stop the service. We will try to give notice of significant changes.
8. Our responsibility
We provide the game “as is” and do not promise it will always be available or error-free. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect or unforeseeable losses. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under consumer protection law that cannot be waived, or our responsibility for our own gross or intentional fault.
9. Ending
You may stop playing and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will change the date above and, for significant changes, tell you in the game or by email before they apply. If you keep playing after that, you accept the new terms.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. If a dispute cannot be settled, it may be brought before the competent courts of Quebec. If you are a consumer, you keep any right to bring the matter before the courts of the district where you live.
12. Language
These terms are available in French and English. Both versions are equally valid.
